DESCRIPTION

This is the 3rd seminar of a 4-part series that introduces the historical andphilosophical foundations of analytical psychology as a way of providing afuller contextual understanding of key concepts, texts and clinical practices,and the critical framework through which they emerged. In this seminar we willfocus on the developments in analytical psychology and psychoanalysis in the 20and 21 centuries. We will follow the different strands of analyticthought and technique as they emerged in the 20century, and theirprofound influence in the rise of individual autonomy, human emancipation andfreedom in Western culture, opening the way to a new understanding of sociallife.

Attendance at previous seminars in this series is not a requirement.
