DESCRIPTION

In the lecture, the notion of liminality will be approached from the prospective of analytical psychology. Definitions of liminality, its challenges, diverse manifestations, potential negative consequences as well as positive effects will be discussed. An additional emphasis will be made on the experiences and knowledge acquired during the times of Covid-19. The theoretical part of the lecture will be interwoven with the material from the author’s 25 years long clinical practice of working with persons having psychiatric difficulties and disorders.  The workshop with active imagination (using clay), based on the lecture, will  be performed during the next day.
