SPEAKER BIOGRAPHY

Marian Dunlea (MSc, ICP, IAPA, ISJA, IAAP) is a Jungian analyst and somatics practitioner, an international speaker, and an author. She is the creator of BodyDreaming® (an embodied practice) and is Director and Teacher of the BodyDreaming training programme. BodyDreaming incorporates developments in neuroscience, trauma therapy, and attachment theory with Jungian psychology, and the phenomenological standpoint of interconnectedness. Marian is Head of Training for the BodySoul Europe organisation, which is sister to the Marion Woodman Foundation, where she is core faculty.

She has been leading workshops for over 30 years integrating body, mind and soul and Marian’s book, BodyDreaming in the Treatment of Developmental Trauma: An Embodied Therapeutic Approach, was the winner of the 2019 Gradiva Award, NAAP (the World Organization and Public Education Corporation of the National Association for the Advancement of Psychoanalysis); and co-winner of the IAJS Book Award for Best Book published in 2020 (International Association for Jungian Studies Awards Program). She lives in Ireland close to the sea.
