DESCRIPTION
Based on a series of handwriting samples, the presentation will showcase C.G. Jung's character development from his youth until his death at the age of 85. Additionally, it will feature a series of brief character analyses of all the significant figures in the development of analytical psychology: Sigmund Freud, Sabina Spielrein, Emma Jung, Toni Wolff, Alphonse Maeder, Peter Baynes, Kristine Mann, Esther Harding, Henry Murray, Barbara Hannah, Michael Fordham, Jolande Jacobi, Marie-Louise von Franz, Erich Neumann, Aniela Jaffé, and many others—as many as time allows. In connection with these analyses, we will touch upon Jung's typology and discuss the relationship between character development and individuation.
Jens Windeleff is a Jungian-oriented graphologist and children's drawing analyst, former chairman of the Association of Danish Graphologists and member of the board of the Jungian Society Copenhagen.
He is also a qualified engineer and coordinated the Danish governmental solar energy R, D and D program from 1985 to 2015.
He has published books on the history of renewable energy and solar architecture and has moreover translated several psychological and cultural-historical works to Danish, including C.G. Jung's Typology and the Chinese I CHING in Richard Wilhelm's German version.
