In these two seminars we will explore the concept of individuation from an angle that offers an alternative to the figure of the 'hero' as conceptualised in particular by Joseph Campbell.

The Friday seminar will introduce the topic starting from Jung's own definitions of individuation.

On Saturday we will embark on an Odyssean journey to discover the ways of Metis — cunning intelligence, embodied wisdom, and shapeshifting resourcefulness — as a different model for becoming.
